"As far back as I can remember, Months, Years, Numbers, Days, Letters, and Names have always had a specific color and often texture. It's hard to describe the colors though. Most of the letters have 2 or more colors blended together, and the colors themselves are better described as being a dark color or a light color. The days of the week also run in a certain direction (right to left) and months and years run the other way, although the months tend to run downhill from around July and level off at September. Days in the beginning of the week are usually vibrant, like they're backlit. Some days also bring to mind images. It's all very strange but exciting!" jd |
"I associate numbers and letters with genders and personalities. I thought everyone did this, and I was surprised when other people thought I was weird when I brought it up. I think people imagine it is distracting, but if you assume it is supposed to be there, it is not. Just like seeing in color as opposed to black and white is not distracting. I think I associated colors with letters and numbers more as a child. I now only do if I focus on that aspect more. I wish I had a more interesting kind of synesthesia." gr
